The action of the film takes place in a small Polish village where refugees find shelter. Eleven-year-old Oskar must save them when uninvited guests arrive.
The director admitted that the crew had been preparing for the filming of the „Devils” for over a year. 'After the first draft of the script, we knew that there would be »burdens« and that the shooting it would not be easy' says Maks. Tomasz Schimscheiner, Karolina Adamczyk (the actors have already collaborated with Maks on the set of the film „The Concubine”), or Mariusz Zaniewski, as well as fresh faces, including young, promising actor, Eryk Pratsko.

Maks also emphasized the professionalism and knowledge of the film craft of the production team. 'Our team consists mainly of people close to me, but also great filmmakers, mostly brought up by the Warsaw Film School'.
The cinematographer of „Devils” is our graduate of Cinematography, Konrad Bloch, hailed by the "Culture" magazine as one of the rising stars of the Polish school of cinematography. It was he who created the cinematography of the Oscar-nominated „The Dress” directed by Tadeusz Łysiak. For his work on this famous film, he was awarded, among others, the Bronze Tadpole of the Camerimage Festival and the Heliograf company award at the Gdynia Film Festival. In addition to films, Konrad also shoots music videos for the most famous stars of the Polish music scene (including the song „Devils” by Mata featuring Quebonafide and Malik Montana) and creates social campaigns (#sexED with Anja Rubik).

'This film set only confirms my belief that a director without the support of people around him is just someone who has an idea, and a script without a good team is just a few pieces of paper with letters' emphasizes Michorczyk.
Karol Żbikowski is responsible for editing, and Mateusz Parkot did the sound also composed the music for the film. The production manager is Franciszek Tereszczuk, and the artistic supervision was provided by the Chancellor of the Warsaw Film School, Dr. Maciej Ślesicki.
We are looking forward to the effects of the film crew's work, and in the meantime, we invite you to chceck out the photo coverage from the set! 2
